REPLACEMENT MATTRESS MATTRESS WITH GOOD COMFORT Optimal Care is used as an aid in the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers/injuries up to category 2(1). Optimal Care is divided into different zones with the aim to adapt to the body and create a good pressure distribution, and the support surface is equipped with reinforced sides for extra support when getting in and out of bed. Optimal Care is manufactured with modern and sustainable materials, meeting healthcare requirements for hygiene, quality and safety(3)(4). Optimal Care is also available in the Optimal Care Duo variant, featuring a modular system on both sides, making it reversible. Covers for comfort and hygiene The support surface is supplied with a liquidproof hygiene cover for easy cleaning. The liquidproof hygiene cover is manufactured in a four-way stretch(5)(3) fabric to reduce the risk of shear forces, and is vapour-permeable(2) to lower the risk of skin maceration. The hygiene cover also features a liquidproof zipper.
