1. The most important benefit of Permaside Filters container is certainly the easy implementation in sterilization services. Nothing more than few visual inspections are required to the personnel. Moreover end-users will find a check list directly laser engraved on the lid of the container. 2. No filters inspection, dismantling or replacements are requested. PTFE filters included into the cartridges have been certified for more than 2000 cycles. Considering a safe statistic average of cycles, we give the cartridge a general shelf life of 5 years. This expiry date (month and year) is also laser engraved on each cartridge. The seal integrity applied to the cartridge certifies that the microbial barrier has not been intentionally tampered. Within 6 months from the expiry date printed on the container, through a recall procedure, the cartridges of the container will be replaced and a new operating life will be granted (5 years or 2000 cycles of sterilization). This will be an opportunity to carry out the routine maintenance on the container itself. In this way the CSSD operator will be ensured on the functioning and integrity of the “sterile barrier” system, thanks to a secure and accurate control on the container during its operating life. 3. Besides each container is supplied with a unique serial number barcode laser engraved on lid and body, that can be read and used for counting and traceability purpose.
