Description
Bcl-2 is an inhibitor of apoptosis, which is found at the breakpoint of chromosome translocation at t(14:18). It is a cytogenetic marker of human follicular lymphoma, and plays a very important inhibitory role in apoptosis.
Differential diagnosis of follicular lymphoma and reactive lymphoid follicular hyperplasia.
It has specific auxiliary effects on mononuclear B lymphocyte proliferation and mononuclear B lymphocytic lymphoma.
