CD68 is an intracellular glycoprotein with a molecular weight of about 110kD. It was originally expressed in cells as an intracytoplasmic molecule. The staining result is positive in normal tissue cells and monocytes.
Mainly used for the auxiliary diagnosis of histiocyte and monocyte tumors.
The staining result is positive in granulocytes and granulocytic sarcoma.
It has an auxiliary role in pathological diagnosis of Toxoplasma gondii lymphadenitis and Kikuchi’s lymphadenitis.
