CD20, the antigen is a non-glycosylated phosphorous protein with a molecular weight of approximately 33kD, expressed in human normal B cells and malignant B cells, and is thought to play a receptor role in the activation and differentiation of B cells.It is reported in the literature that CD20 antigen is expressed in normal B cells in peripheral blood, in lymph nodes, spleen, tonsils, bone marrow, acute leukemia and chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
