CD30 antigen is a receptor of cytokine ligand CD30L, which is expressed in most anaplastic large cell lymphomas in the surface nuclei of polynuclear R-S cells. CD30 antigen is also expressed in epstein-barr virus-transformed B cells and other virus-transformed cells. With the exception of some pleomorphic T-cell lymphomas, most t-cell lymphomas do not express the CD30 antigen.
