Use it within the expiration date. Read insert carefully before use. 1. Remove a test strip, dip test strips in specimen for 2 seconds. Make ail of test areas are stained with fresh speciman. 2. Shake off any excess liquid on the rim of the vessel and blot the edge of the test strip on tissue paper. 3. Wait time reference instruction. 4. Match the test pad to the color chart for your result Simply dip one test strip into the water and wait for 5 seconds. Remove the test strip, hold it horizontaliy for 30 seconds, and then compare it to the Total Alkalinity, pH, Iron, Copper, Lead, Total Hardness, and Free Chlorine against the color on the chart to get a rought estimate.
