Description

The ChoiceSpine Hawkeye™ Ti is a Titanium vertebral body replacement (VBR) device intended for cervical (C2-T1) and thoracolumbar (T1-L5) corpectomy procedures. The spacer has a basic oval/ trapezoidal shape, a hollow center for placement of bone graft, and angled ridges or “teeth” on both the superior & inferior surfaces. Hawkeye Ti is offered in 8° lordosis, and multiple footprints to accommodate varying patient anatomies. The system is intended for use with supplemental fixation. HAWKEYE TI FEATURES • Built in lordosis: 8° • 14-60mm implant sizes in 2mm increments • Two footprint options: small (12mm × 14mm) and medium (14mm × 16mm) to treat various patient anatomies • • Large center opening for bone graft material • Lateral and Anterior windows for implant positioning verification • 510(k) cleared for cervical and lumbar use ChoiceSpine’s lead designer of Hawkeye TI, David Hannah, talks about how this static VBR implant is advancing cervical cases, making it more efficient for surgeons and patients.
