Description

For use with Canon PVM-740RT and PVT-770RT transducers. This single-use endocavity needle guide was specifically designed for endorectal procedures. The disposable guide attaches into a reusable transducer bracket providing a secure fit to the transducer for biopsy procedures. The reusable bracket is packaged non-sterile and should be cleaned and maintained according to your system manual's cleaning instructions. Disposable replacement kits are available separately. This endocavity guide accepts instruments from 16-18GA sizes. NOTE: Optional software must be installed on system for use with this needle guide. Contact your Canon representative for details. Accurate needle path with on-screen guidelines offers physician real-time visualization ensuring patient safety. Reduces technique variability providing a shorter learning curve and reduced procedure time. Single-use design reduces risks of cross-contamination and increases productivity with ease and safety. Allows needle insertion parallel to the imaging plane, promoting needle visibility during transvaginal or transrectal ultrasound-guided procedures. Ensures intracavity procedures can be performed quickly and inexpensively. Aids in accurate sampling during targeted prostate biopsy. Enables transvaginal biopsies of pelvic tumors for diagnostic purposes. Enables accurate and safe transvaginal ultrasound-guided FNA to assist in diagnosis and management of small, deep pelvic lesions. Allows accurate (transvaginal) needle or catheter placement.
