A large proportion of falls occur at night, when the resident gets up to go to the toilet. One way of preventing this type of fall is to have sufficient lighting in the room. Studies show that good lighting reduces the risk of falling by up to 73%.
The beacon lights up automatically when the resident gets up, thanks to a presence sensor. It is advisable to install it on the way to the bathroom.
