Description
The Convergys® COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test is designed for the direct testing for acute COVID-19 infections. The rapid chromatographic immunoassay detects the Nucleocapsid protein of SARS-CoV-2, the pathogen causing the COVID-19 disease. Results are available in 15 minutes.
The test kit works with nasopharyngeal and nasal patient swabs and includes all required materials for collecting the sample and doing the test. It can be stored at room temperature and the shelf life is 24 months.
The Convergys® COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test is offically listed by the German Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM ID: AT498/20).
