PNR, an acronym for Pierce-able and Re-sealable, is the name of COPAN unique patent pending invention of pierce-able and re-sealable screw caps of various sizes designed to be applied to specimen collection tubes. The top of the cap is covered with a pierce- able metallic foil lm, which protects the Duck Bill valve until the moment of use. The PnR cap revolutionizes specimen management by eliminating time consuming de-capping, re-capping, and repetitive stress injuries. Also, the re-sealable feature ensures that specimens are immediately reclosed, eliminating the need to manually do that and avoiding potential contamination from tubes being open for prolonged periods of time.
