INSTRUMENTATION DynaFORCE® Step Clips comes with sterile packed stainless steel instrumentation. Inserters are pre-loaded with implants for each surgery. DYNAFORCE® STEP SYSTEM The DynaFORCE® Step system offers the benefits of continuous compression and comes sterile packed with a broad size range PRODUCT FEATURES Continuous compression nitinol implant Simple and efficient technique Sterile stainless steel instrumentation with EcoSMART® service AVAILABLE SIZES The DynaFORCE® Step system is available in five offsets with an 18mm interaxis. STEP 01 Incision and Exposure An incision is placed lateral to the calcaneus, parallel to the peroneal tendons. Dissect the soft tissue and expose the calcaneus. Note: Make sure to identify and protect the sural nerve STEP 02 Osteotomy Using a saw, make an osteotomy through the calcaneus across to the opposite cortex. Option: CrossRoads cut guide provided to pre-set anterior holes and provide guide for saw. Leave positioning pins in place to identify fixation holes. Caution: Only drill anterior drill holes prior to osteotomy
