Drum charging station. The drum charging station and the lifter are a single unit, eliminating the need to manage two structures that interact with each other. If the space required is reduced—because the skids needed for charging reactors or other equipment are reduced from two to one—the pistons that lift the drums into the chamber are doubled. Now, two arms accompany the drum upwards to bring it to the iris inlet. This new configuration gives the lifter more solidity and fluidity, and the base structure, equipped with wheels and brakes, allows the entire unit to be moved easily. The ability to access from the side (thanks to the third glove) as well ensures greater ergonomics during operations inside the chamber. Extracting bags from drums becomes easier, as does reaching hard-to-access points during decontamination phases.
