The SYMBOL® cup has been designed to ensure that all cups have the same exterior design. All are hemispherical and of even diameter, with a flattened hub and increased roughness for cementless versions. The centre of the metal shell and liner components coincide.

FEATURES
The SYMBOL® cup has been designed to meet all current surgical techniques.
For this reason, it is hemispherical in design and provides:
Significant Pressfit
No medialisation
Hemispherical milling, without the cup sliding out of the acetabulum
Limitation of conflicts (psoas, prosthetic, pincer effect)
Positioning in rotation not needed because of configuration of cup
Fitting identical to conventional cup: standard surgical practice, repetition of movements
Concentric centre: milling = test cup = final implant: respect for anatomical centre
