Core drills are designed to be used for initial osteotomy for implant placement. Core drills come in 2.3, 2.65, and 3 mm diameters and are to be used with their respective Narrow, Standard, and Wide implant diameters. Alternatively, in the presence of hard bone, the core drills can be used progressively in order to achieve the desired size. Core drills also come in short and long iterations, with 30 mm and 40 mm shank lengths, respectively. Material is 17-4 Stainless Steel that is passivated and heat treated.
