The Titanium Sternal Fixation System provides internal fixation of the sternum for primary or secondary closure and repair. Features & Benefits Sternal Plates Titanium straight locking plates for sternal and rib-to-rib fixation. Titanium star-shaped and H-shaped plates for fixation of the manubrium. Release Pin Emergency release pin on plates*. Plates consist of two parts joined by a U-shaped release pin in the cross section. The release pin allows sternal re-entry in cardiac emergency cases.
