Description

The interesting research activity that Mauro Carratelli has been doing in the last 20 years led to the development of a series of tests in the area of oxidative stress evaluation, now included in Panel Carratelli. Panel Carratelli is the integrated analytical approach that allows the global assessment of oxidative stress by the use of 13 tests that complete each other. These tests can be divided in two groups, one for the evaluation of the pro-oxidant status and the other for the antioxidant status, and both can be applied to Human, Veterinary and Agri-food sector. Useful to: useful in the treatment of masculine infertility and prostatic inflammatory status What Evaluates: the peroxidation status of sperm Matrix: sperm liquid, nemasperm, fresh spermatic plasma Sector of application: Human and Veterinary IVD/FRUO: For research use only Instrumentation: FREE Systems, manual photometers Some tests are classified for diagnostic use (IVD) and others for research use only (FRUO). While all the tests of the Panel can be used on standard photometers, some of them can be applied on microplate readers or automatic analysers. As an alternative it's possible to run the assays with the dedicated FREE systems (FREE Carpe Diem and FREE DUO). As for all the products developed by Mauro Carratelli, the focus of the development is the ease of use combined with the reliability of the system.
