This pressure-relieving positioning cushion is 15 cm high ensuring a neutral position of a client’s hip and pelvis when one leg is placed on the pillow in the side-lying position. This eliminates any painful twists in the lower back, which are otherwise common in this position. The positioning cushion combines two types of foam to create a firm core that ensures stability, with the pressure-relieving surface. A multi-stretch cover allows the foam optimum working conditions and is vapour permeable and water-resistant, which means that the cushion does not absorb liquids. Enabling ergonomic working - Combine this support cushion with our Wedge cushion, to create optimum working conditions when performing care tasks on a client in bed. This might be situations of wound care or when performing intimate hygiene and dressing in bed.
