Description The DR5 Ladies Lab Coat provides an elegant addition to our boutique collection. Like all Dr. James products, the DR5 was designed to create a synergy between fashion and function. Its feminine contouring and princess seam highlight a tailored look that is both flattering and refined which best suits a more tailored physique. The back of garment features double pleats for a more comfortable feel while the fabric is shaped to curve around your physique naturally. The fabric weight is 245gsm with a pre-shrunk 65% polyester and 35% cotton blend making it robust and durable for any lab, medical or industrial work environment. Its absorbent material offers the user limited protection against non-chemical spills and dust to clothing underneath. The coat length is above the knee area based on the average size for a women in the US of 5'4". The DR5 has 2 concealed pockets at the hips providing ample room for carrying all necessary elements. The garment closes over with concealed studs making it easier for quick closure and release. Suitable for wash of up to 60 degrees. Low shrinkage. Inspiration he DR5 Ladies Lab Coat takes its inspiration from Professor Marie Curie, the first female professor at the University of Paris. Marie Curie was a pioneer in the field of radiation research and the first woman to win the Nobel Prize in two different categories.
