Mobility and design allow this unit to be used for receiving and releasing patients, moving them, as a temporary holding kennel, or even as an emergency exam and treatment table. Built like the modular cages, this mobile transport unit is insulated and finished with polished stainless steel side and top panels. The universal door is designed for right-hand or left-hand opening. Large 5" heavy-duty corrosion resistant casters let you maneuver the unit easily through most door openings. Two of the casters feature locking mechanisms to hold the unit stationary when not in use, and a full width bar handle provides easy control. These cages are fabricated from an exclusive 2-piece construction process, minimizing the number of welded seams. All seams are welded with precision heliarc seam welds for a durable and built-to-last cage. Constructed from the highest grade, type 304, heavy-gauge stainless steel and featuring a polished finish, this stainless steel cage assembly is built to last. Even the trim hardware (with rounded corners), screws and platforms are made of stainless steel. This makes these cages safe and easy to clean - achieving a sparkling shine finish is easy.
