K-3 Point
1. The proven trihedral tip combines smooth entry with just the right amount of puncture resistance to assist safe dural puncture.
2. The base of the needle is transparent, making it easy to check for reflux of spinal fluid.
Pencil Point
1. The precision polished conical point offers outstanding straight-line stability and greater puncture resistance than a cutting needle, making it easier to feel whether the dura has been successfully punctured.
2. The smaller puncture hole results in less spinal fluid leakage compared with when a cutting needle is used, and many users have reported reduced incidence of post-dural puncture headaches (PDPH) as a result.
Dual-Stage Needle
1. The fine tip helps prevent PDPH.
2. The greater thickness from the middle to the base counters bending and makes the cannula easier to control during insertion.
3. Three types of tips – K-3 Point, Pencil Point, and Backcut – are available for use with this needle.
*Please use a guide needle with the Pencil Point.
Huber Point
1. Available with both detachable and fixed wings, and a choice of acute and obtuse tip configurations.
2. Our lineup includes 16G, 17G, and 18G for epidural catheter insertion use and 20G and 22G for single-shot epidural block use.
3. The angle of the blade tip is designed to enhance tactile response during insertion and ensure smooth insertion of the epidural catheter.
