LLD, enables fast image acquisition by acquiring whole spine and long length images with a single shot contributing to enhanced patient satisfaction and usability as it lowers the need of re-screening due to the movement of patients.
The conventional stitching method where three images are stitched to make one whole spine image, has high distortion rate, and repeated X-ray exposure leads to the reduction of the lifespan of the tube while increasing the amount of radiation dosage for the patient.
Nevertheless, LLD is capable of rendering images with a single shot exposure, and provides high quality long length images as it minimizes image distortion.
The Auto ROI, first such technology to be developed by DRTECH, recognizes automatically the X-ray exposed area, thereby enabling users to acquire images that they desire without the need to have separate collimator settings. The Auto ROI function enables screening of not only wide areas but also general screening of the thoracic region, enabling users to use it for fast scanning of any desired area including the thorax, hands, spines or the lower body.
