The EZ Sep is an abutment retrieval tool that was built to help the doctors to remove the cold-welded connection abutments in implant restorations.
One of the drawbacks of the screw-and-cement-retained prosthesis technique, is that it makes it difficult to remove the bond abutment from the implant, specially if there is an internal conical sealed connection.
This innovative device and technique combines the advantages of both the screw-and the cement-retained methodologies, and allows the clinician to separate the sealed abutment from the implant in provisional and permanent implant restorations.
The procedure is safe for the integrity of the restoration, simple for the practitioner, and comfortable for the patient.
