Economic preparation of non-precious metal alloys with fine titanium blades VZ27 Generally, more material has to be removed during preparation of non-precious metals in the dental laboratory because of technical reasons during casting. The preparation instruments are therefore subjected to a large amount of stress and have only a short service life. New nonprecious metal alloys are slightly softer, but are still difficult to machine. Cutters are consequently required that are as wear resistant as possible and at the same time also ensure high material removal rate. The newly developed fine titanium blade VZ27 has a very high cutting efficiency ensuring a high material removal rate while simultaneously smoothing the surface of the material, which then allows it to be easily polished.
