With Elekta Xoft, highly focused therapeutic radiation of the disease target is possible in a minimally shielded setting, while sparing surrounding healthy tissue. Elekta Xoft may not be available in all markets. The Xoft technology is supported by a growing body of evidence for the treatment of early-stage breast cancer, non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC), and gynecological cancers. Emerging applications include colorectal, prostate, and pancreatic cancers.
