The Elmasonic Med 200* is a powerful, MDR-compliant ultrasonic cleaning device specially designed to hold DIN mesh baskets and for pre-cleaning medical instruments. The special sieve basket holder from Elma allows DIN ¾ ("standard short") and DIN 1/1 baskets with dimensions of 485 x 253 x 94 mm to be used directly in the ultrasonic bath. Subsequently, the ultrasonically pre-cleaned instruments can be transferred to the further cleaning process, such as a washer-disinfector (WD). The Elmasonic Med 200 is specialised to be integrated into existing reprocessing processes. It reliably cleans medical, dental and surgical instruments and implants. Even the most stubborn contamination is thoroughly removed during pre-cleaning, thus making the surgical instruments available to the operating area quickly and without repeated WD reprocessing. *Medical Product Class 1 according to MDR (EU) 2017/745.
