Description

EmerTher® Magnetic Plasmid DNA Purification Kit is designed to efficiently purify a large amount of plasmid DNA from bacteria culture. The kit contains superparamagnetic nanoparticles coated through a unique process, enabling strong binding with DNA from a variety of biological samples. DNA can be easily removed from magnetic beads by just using water. Purified DNA is ready to use in downstream applications. Features High throughput: fast plasmid DNA extraction process Convenient: all procedures can be performed at room temperature. No high temperature elution is necessary Environmentally friendly: no guanidine, phenol or chloroform is needed Automation: designed to be fully compatible with automation for a large scale of plasmid DNA extraction Components of the Kits Pretreatment: Harvest bacterial cells from 1-5 mL of overnight culture. Centrifuge the sample at 5,000 g for 1 min. Discard supernatant and collect bacteria pellet. Add 100 μL solution I and 10 μL RNaseA solution. Mix well and suspend the bacteria pellet in the solution. Add 150 μL solution II into the bacteria suspension and invert the tube 4-6 times. Add 150 μL solution III into the suspension and invert the tube 4-6 times immediately (Or use pipette to mix). If complete degradation of RNA is desired, allow the sample stand for 10 min at room temperature. Centrifuge at 15,000 g for 5 min.
