Analog physiological signals need to be digitized, and sometimes amplified, before being acquired by IOX2 software. For this purpose, we offer two USB-based devices that are ideal for a variety of preclinical experiments:
usbACQ is designed to acquire and digitize high-level analog signals that are pre-amplified up to ±10 volts.
usbAMP is designed to acquire and amplify biopotentials and signals from strain gauge-based transducers.
Techniques & measurements
Analog signal already amplified
The usbACQ device is used to interface between a pre-amplified transducer and the acquisition computer.
It provides high resolution analog-to-digital conversion and transfers data to the computer via a USB cable.
Biopotential electrodes & strain gauge transducers
Biopotential electrodes (multi-lead or single lead ECG, EEG, EMG) and strain gauge transducers (force, pressure…) can be connected to the usbAMP device, that powers strain gauge transducer, amplifies signals, and performs analog-to-digital conversion.
Data transfer to the computer is done via an USB cable.
