The ash processor works in automatic mode with the introduction of the cinerary box (drawn out from the cremator). The system avoids any kind of spreading and/or manipulation. Hygienic and cleanliness conditions are guaranteed for the operators. The treatment unit is contained in a steel structure and consists of two cabinets that are painted externally and have soundproof panels for noise reduction. ​A cabinet contains the grinding unit made up by a system of chains; the other cabinet, alongside the first, contains, in addition to the switchboard, the light and vacuum unit for the transfer of the urns. The vacuum unit maintains depression in the grinding unit by preventing the dispersion of dust in the environment. The machine is constructed in such a way as to allow the direct passage of the ashes from the cinerary box to the final urn without intermediate manipulations of the operators and without risk of leakage in the local of the ashes treatment. The operating cycle is timed and the operator during the ashes treatment, can focus on other tasks. At the end of the cycle, that lasts maximum 5 minutes, the ashes fall directly in the urn positioned in the lower part of the machine. The metals are recovered at the end of the process and emptied in the collection container.
