The ERBE EIP 2 cleans the operating site, leading to improved visibility and optimization of the surgical effects. It pumps the target tissue, leaving it cleansed of faeces, food remnants, clots and blood. It also provides improved visibility in endoscopic procedures, which eliminates the use of an additional irrigation catheter that requires additional staff and is more costly. The EIP 2 can be activated during intestinal irrigation, either simultaneously or supplementary to the patient's diagnosis and therapy. It's electrosurgical effect requires less power, and can target tissues more effectively and be applied with a greater degree of safety.
