A greater understanding of device-tissue interaction has driven improved leak performance.1 With the goal of better patient outcomes, the ETHICON Linear Cutter offers innovative 3D Stapling Technology and selectable staple height that helped reduce risk factors for bleeding leaks compared to the AutoSuture DST Series GIA. The ETHICON™ Linear Cutter delivers six staggered rows of staples, three on either side of the cut line, in open surgical procedures. To meet the unique needs of each patient, three different closed staple heights may be selected using a single staple reload. Colectomy, Small Bowel Resection, Gastrectomy, Lobectomy, Wedge Resection Gastrointestinal, Gynecologic, Thoracic, Pediatric Innovative 3D Stapling Technology is designed to produce more uniform tissue compression to reduce the risk of leaks or bleeding through the staple line. With innovative 3D stapling technology helped reduce the risk of staple line leakage compared to the Auto Suture DST Series GIA™.
