The DECRO jacket is one of the key components of Etisense's telemetry solution.
Our jackets are designed to be flexible, stretchable, yet durable, ensuring optimal animal acceptance across a wide range of species—from the smallest to the largest, including rats, marmosets, pigs, and dogs.
Each jacket integrates plethysmographic sensors (for respiratory function), protects the external ECG electrodes, and secures the Bluetooth telemetry emitter in a small backpack-style pouch.
Designed for ease of use, our jackets streamline technical procedures, reducing the time required to equip animals before acquiring the first data.
They also simplify ethics committee approvals for studies requiring physiological parameter recording, by eliminating the need for surgical implantation and/or avoiding plethysmographic stress for respiratory function measurement.
The software and acquisition system remain the same for all species, with only the jackets and consumables varying to accommodate different animal morphologies.
