The Basic ECG Analysis Module automatically detects the QRS complex in the ECG signal recorded by two surface electrodes placed in LEAD II on the shaved skin of the animals. It ensures a highly robust cardiac cycle detection (>95% of the signal is usable, even in the presence of movement). Once the cycles are detected, the module calculates heart rate and RR interval parameters.
The Supplementary ECG Delineation Module is also available, offering automatic delineation of characteristic ECG points and waves on averaged ECG traces. It leverages signal averaging algorithms for strong noise reduction and probabilistic approaches to ensure accurate localization of P and T wave onsets and offsets, as well as the QRS complex. The module includes QT interval correction, both mathematical and individualized, as a built-in feature. This module is available across all product ranges but must be ordered separately.
