The DIOR®, a Paclitaxel-eluting PTCA balloon dilatation catheter, is a rapid-exchange catheter which is specially designed for interventions in coronary arteries. It is indicated for widening stenosis of de novo and restenotic lesions of a coronary artery or a coronary bypass in order to enhance myocardial perfusion. The DIOR® Paclitaxel eluting coronary balloon catheter is especially indicated for the treatment of coronary in-stent restenosis. Investigated in numerous indactions Eurocors DEB technology is proven to be effective and safe in several preclinical trials and clinically for the treatment of in-stent-restenosis (ISR). The DIOR DEB has also shown low restenosis and TLR rates when used as the sole modality, without a stent for the treatment of de novo lesions, in small vessels and in bifurcation lesions. The safety and efficacy of the DIOR DEB has been verified i in the following indications: ISR Small vessels Bifurcation lesions De novo lesions Enables Re-intervention Peripheral and coronary Drug Coated Balloon Catheters Therapy for endovascular and coronary procedures are in line with the philosophy “Leave Nothing Behind”. The intervention can be repeated several times which might be preferable to the long-term persistence of a foreign body. In other words, DEB intervention leaves all options for future treatment open. Proven Efficacy & Safety The use of Eurocors DEBs is an effective alternative as any stentless technology for the improvement of long-term patency and might be preferable to the long-term persistence of a foreign body.
