The HEXAGON range of total knee prostheses optimally answers to all types of primary knee arthroplasty.
4 possible configurations:
• Standard condyle (UC) or postero-stabilised with fixe bearing.
• Standard condyle (UC) or postero-stabilised with mobile bearing.
All femoral and tibial implants are available in a cementless or cemented version.
Condyles:
- Anatomical trochlea of 5°, allowing the replacement or not of the patella, while maintaining alignment with the direction of movement of the patella, thus reducing the risks of hyper pressure and dislocation of the patella.
- Three radii of curvature responding to the kinematics of the joint and its physiological movement. It thus allows a large flexion clearance, allowing patients to resume high flexion activities.
Inserts:
- The fixed inserts combine with 2 sizes of tibial baseplates. The frontal profile of the fixed plate inserts is identical for all sizes in the range, which allows greater condyle/insert compatibility.
- The mobile inserts are characterized by their high congruence of the articular surfaces with the condyles. They match size for size with these. The rotating stud is identical for all insert sizes, which promotes the compatibility of these inserts with the tibial bases.
Tibial baseplates:
- Non-lateralized symmetrical baseplates.
- The posterior notch allows the preservation or not of the PCL.
- The tibial baseplate has 140° wings, with a keel shape which ensures hold in the bone and optimal anti-rotational stability.
