EUROP POSTERO is designed for total knee joint replacement. It is a postero-stabilised prothesis with or without conservation of the PCL (Posterior Crucial Ligament). details Femoral condyle : • Asymmetric posterior condyles. • Constant radius of curvature of the trochlear groove to prevent femoro-patellar impingement. • 3rd femoral condyle in permanent contact with the peg of the tibial insert in polyethylene. • Femoral keel available. Tibial baseplate : • Posterior notch respecting the insertion of the PCL. • Stabilized by 2 anti-rotation wings. • Extension Keel available. Tibial insert : • Postero-stabilised insert. • Rounded peg shape facilitating tibial implant rotation. • Inclined peg shape reducing shear stress. • Permanent contact with the 3rd condyle of the femoral implant preventing clocking effect.
