Description

There are several cardiac markers that can be used for acute myocardial infarction (AMI) diagnosis, such as CK-MB, Myoglobin, Troponin I, CRP, FABP and IMA. Amid the acute infarct, the timeline of elevated level of cardiac markers in blood is as follows: Myoglobin (1hr) → cTnI / cTnT (4hr) → CK-MB (4hr) → FABP (6hr) → CRP (14hr) → LD-1 (24hr). The Firstep Cardiac Marker Test is a sandwich immunochromatographic assay, it detects cardiac markers in blood qualitatively for preliminary screening. This test should not be used as the sole criteria for the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction, in suspected case further confirmation shall be made by physician. Product Features • Short processing time • Easy operation and result interpretation • No instrument needed, results visible to the naked eye • Diverse testing items Scope of application Patients suspected of having Acute Myocardial Infarction. The test is designed for the rapid qualitative determination of cardiac Troponin-I (cTnI) and Creatine kinase-MB isoenzyme (CK-MB) in human Whole Blood/Plasma/Serum. This test is an aid in the diagnosis of myocardial infarction.
