THE DOLPHIN HAS AN IMPLANT-GRADE TITANIUM TIP PROVIDING 15 GM OF CONSTANT-FORCE PRESSURE AND 0.2 MM PRECISION. We decided that the most important improvement we could make would be to create a probe that is always new for each new patient exam. The Dolphin is Single-Use and Disposable. We then focused on improving our Sleeve and Tip design by creating a new, more flexible plastic sleeve. The Dolphin’s neon yellow sleeve is easier to see in both light and dark environments - By updating the sleeve to plastic, we were able to make it more flexible and friction-free for hard-to-reach interproximal sites.
