The 944-90/100 Process Control Panels are designed to work with Victoreen radiation monitoring systems, allowing for local and/or remote control of the system pump, moving filter tape drive, and more. Key Features Compact size, 5.6 (w) x 3.5 inch (h) Mounts in UDR Rack Chassis Pump and Power On/Off Control Power On, Pump On and Flow Fault indicators Moving Filter Control and Status indication When an existing analog process radiation monitor ratemeter is upgraded to a digital ratemeter, replacement of the existing hardwired remote monitor control switches should be considered. After years of use, the mechanical vacuum pump and power control switches age, and their operation may no longer be reliable. Internal cams may wear, and no longer function as originally designed. Control contacts may also erode, and become a source of electromagnetic noise when the control circuit is opened. Because of the age of the control switches, replacement operators and contact blocks may no longer be available to rebuild the control switches to correct these problems. The 944-90 and 944-100 have been designed to solve this problem.
