Description

Know the hygiene quality of raw milk before you start using it with fast Bacteria and Somatic Cell Count in one handy instrument. Small and handy instrument for Bacteria Count and Somatic Cell Count offers a rapid alternative to manual assay or semi-automated methods requiring reagent handling. Reagent bag system ensures exact reagent dosage every time reducing the risk of human error that can occur with other methods. Raw cow's milk, buffalo milk and goat milk. Bacteria count and somatic cell count. Results for bacteria count and somatic cell are delivered within nine and a half minutes (1.5 minutes for somatic cell alone). The method is the same as the well-known methods used in FOSS BactoScan™ and Fossomatic™ analysers used by raw milk testing centres around the world. Unique flow system directs the sample to a bacteria incubator or somatic cell mixing chamber where the cells are stained and then measured by the laser source. Two different laser intensity levels are used according to whether a somatic cell count or bacteria count is to be performed.
