The OCTO™ Port is comprised of three components : A detachable multi-channel access port A flexible wound retractor A surgical smoke filter The name OCTO™ Port originates from Octopus. OCTO™ Port allows the user to multi-task by way of multiple access channels . KEYWORDS MULTITASKING Several different functions of OCTO™ Port work well together. The multiple access ports can be utilised simultaneously, whilst a wound retractor allows the surgeon to remove larger specimens without the need for extending the incision. TRANSFORM The OCTO™ Port system can be adapted, depending on the surgical procedure, with several orientations and specifications available. Each 5-12mm access channel has and a universal “star sealing system” that allows unrestricted use for different sized instruments (5-12mm) whilst maintaining pressure. FLEXIBILITY OCTO™ Port's flexible material allows for active movement of several instruments at the same time during triangulation. OCTO™ Port safely sits on the abdominal wall, allowing surgeons to move around freely without having to manually adjust it.
