HALLUX VALGUS NIGHT SPLINTREF. F-00020A plastic sling which holds the foot in the correct position during the night, soothing the pain bypulling the join outwards realigning the big toe and preventing a possible worsening. The tractionmust be carried out so that the correction of the deformity of the toe is visible.The corrector is acting effectively when the articulation at the base of the big toe, on beingpressed, experiences a slight pain.The night bindings favour a gradual correction of deviation in the toes, following the principleof preventative bindings (prolonged action but of slight intensity) through which a progressiveimprovement is achieved until the soft parts and articulations are normalised withoutdamaging them. It must be remembered that the articulation should not be forced in such away that the pain prevents one from resting properly.Supplied as a pair (right foot corrector and left foot corrector) per box. The curve of the splintmatches the curve of the instep on the foot, as with footwear.
