Q-Max® with hydrophilic and hydrophobic PTFE membranes are supplied in two dismetres and with two pore sizes. - 13 mm and 25 mm with 0.22 and 0.45 µm membranes. Filters with hydrophobic PTFE membranes can be used for filtration of strong solvents, acids and bases. Not useful for filtration of aqueous liquids. Filters with hydrophilic PTFE can be used for filtration of strong solvents, acids and bases. However, these filters can also be used for filtration of aqueous liquids which make this type very versatile.
