BLOK™ Casein is a convenient ready-to-use solution of purified casein blocking solutions for Western blots, dot blots, ELISA, IHC and nucleic acid detection methods. The BLOK™ Casein are avaialble as a 1% (w/v) casein,which is the optional concentration for most applications, in 1X PBS and TBS. The Hammarsten grade BLOK™ Casein is manufactured with Hammarsten Grade casein that features additional clean up steps to remove additional carbohydrates and fatty acids. The composition of the Hammarsten grade BLOK™ Casein is 1% (w/v) casein (Hammarsten grade) in 100mM sodium phosphate, 150mM NaCl, pH7.4 with Kathon® anti-microbial agent.
