The sperm Concentration Test is a rapid test for the qualitative detection of sperm concentration in human semen, as an aid in the determination of a man’s fertility status.
This kit is an immunochromatography assay and uses the double antibody sandwich method to detect the specific protein SP10 in human semen. During detection, when the concentration of SP10 protein in the semen sample is higher than or equal to the minimum detection limit, the sperm SP10 protein in the semen combines with the SP10 monoclonal antibody labeled with colloidal gold to form a reaction complex, which is reacted by chromatography moving forward along the nitrocellulose membrane, it is captured by the SP10 monoclonal antibody pre-coated on the detection zone (T) of the nitrocellulose membrane, and finally, a red reaction line visible to the naked eye is formed.
