GAZ SYSTEMES provides a range of compressed air systems for hospitals, which are being used for medical compressed air and surgical air systems. The two applications are combined on a single plant as the use of surgical air will demand more pressure and more flow. However, the quantity of surgical air outlets being used at the same time is very low and the outlets are used during a very limited period of time.
GAZ SYSTEMES compressed air systems include a compressor, which can be of various technology, a compressed air tank duly coated, an air dryer (desiccant or refrigerant), a medical grade filtration system and a pressure reducing device.
The plant is composed of:
1 rotary screw compressor
1 Vitroflex AirTANK
1 desiccant air dryer
1 set of filtration <0.01 um
1 stainless steel sterile bacteria filter

The Dessicant Air Dryer provided by GAZ SYSTEMES is very efficient and overtakes the specifications of the European Pharmacopoeia:
Pressure Dew Point of –70 °C
Contains a catalyst to convert the CO into CO2
Contains CO2 adsorption tower
Contains activated charcoal to remove residual organic compounds and odours
Using ambient air, these units produce medical quality air by following the steps below:
Compression
Drying with an adsorption dryer
Complete filtration to obtain the quality required by the European Pharmacopoeia
Expansion to 4 bar/7 bar
