Description

Reagent kit for the capture of histidine-tagged ligands in Biacore systems, providing an alternative to capture on nickel-chelated nitrilotriacetic (NTA) groups. Overview Easy: Minimum assay development with no need to identify reagents or verify assay conditions. Convenient: Optimized protocol and all required solutions for the efficient capture of histidine-tagged proteins included. An attractive approach for protein attachment Capture of histidine-tagged recombinant proteins is an attractive approach for protein attachment in Biacore systems for a number of reasons, one being that physiological conditions can be used during the whole procedure. His capture kit is designed for capture of histidine-tagged proteins by an antihistidine antibody and provides an alternative to capture on nickel-chelated nitrilotriacetic (NTA) groups. Lower non-specific binding and/or higher binding stability Depending on the nature of the interacting molecules, this approach might give lower non-specific binding and/or higher binding stability. The anti-histidine antibody is a monoclonal antibody (MAb) directed against polyhistidine tags in the C or N terminus of a protein. Order Information - The use of these products in Biacore systems requires an Amine Coupling Kit with Sensor Chip CM5, CM4, CM3, or C1. Not for use with Biacore Flexchip Kit contents - Anti-histidine antibody, immobilization buffer, and regeneration solution. For use with - Enables antibody capture of histidine-tagged ligands in Biacore systems Capacity - Sufficient for 10 immobilizations and 1000 injections. Pack size - 1 kit
