Description

JAW TYPES Our high-quality forceps are available in different models and materials. Choose the suitable instrument from our wide portfolio. Depending on the pattern of the forceps there are jaw widths from 0.1mm to 7mm available. TC inserts or diamond coating guarantee a better grip of the tissue. We have the following jaw types in our line: smooth, with tying platform, 1x2 teeth, dilator or Pierse tip, atraumatic, fine serrated and ring tips. The tumor grasping forceps have either flat serrated, curette- or spoon-shaped working parts. HANDLE VERSIONS According to requirements of the surgical procedure or the personal preference of the surgeon we offer forceps with different handle types. Choose from flat, round or golfball-design handles. Furthermore we offer bayonet and counterweighed instruments. SIGNIFICANCE The variety of jaw and handle types, materials and surface finishes emphasize the high standard of our products. MATERIAL AND SURFACE FINISH Our forceps are either available in stainless steel or titanium. Stainless steel is a well-established raw material. If it is correctly treated, it will guarantee a long life of the instrument. The standard surface of our stainless steel models is brushed mat. Instruments made from titanium are approximately 50% lighter compared to the stainless steel types. In addition, they are also nonmagnetic. The standard surface finish of this product line is blue anodized. Upon customer request, there are also other finishes possible.
