Description

The Geratherm® classic+ thermometer is intended for determining the body temperature of people of all ages. It is suitable for rectal, oral and axillary measurement. We recommend the rectal or oral measurement. In the case of children, the measurement should be carried out and monitored by an adult. The Geratherm® classic+ clinical thermometer is supplied with a storage case with a magnifying glass effect, which makes it easier to read the measurement result. Glass thermometers, especially our Geratherm® classic and Geratherm® classic+, have a long tradition and analog thermometers have long been the method of choice for measuring body temperature. However, glass thermometers still offer some decisive advantages today. Thanks to the closed glass body, the thermometer can be disinfected as a whole and is ideal for allergy sufferers. And our thermometers have long since ceased to contain toxic mercury. Galinstan is now used as the measuring liquid. We believe in a tradition that is over 100 years old and are convinced that it is still an environmentally friendly, reliable and, above all, durable alternative to digital thermometers.
